Northern and Northwestern France will host the first 10 stages of the 2025 Tour de France. These mostly flat and hilly routes pass through rolling countryside, coastal resorts, and ancient UNESCO-protected cities, with just one challenging mountain stage. This “Week 1” is the perfect opportunity to Ride Every Kilometre, tackling the pros’ route before they face the Pyrenees and French Alps.

Le Tour de France Week 2 - the week where the teams and leaders jockey for tactical positions across France. The mountains stages appear in this week - first up Stage 10 Le Mont-Dore Puy de Sancy in the Massif Central. And then straight south to the Pyrenees and 3 more mountain stages - the lung busting ITT climb to Peyragudes, and the massive climbs over Soulor, Hautacam, Tourmalet, Aspin, Peyrsourde and Luchon-Superbagneres. Culminating with a hilly route into the Montagne Noire and beautiful Carcassonne.
The 112th edition of the Tour de France heads to the Pyrenees in its second week, featuring many iconic climbs to test the teams after the flat and hilly stages of the Grand Départ and Week 1. Over three days, riders will tackle seven major climbs: Soulor, Hautacam, Peyragudes, Tourmalet, Aspin, Peyresourde, and Luchon-Superbagneres. Despite the shorter distances, the total elevation gain across these stages is nearly 10,000 meters!
